A Near Thing for Captain Najork was first published in 1975 and follows How Tom Beat Captain Najork and his Hired Sportsmen, which won the Whitbread Prize in 1974 and was also illustrated by Blake.
The Rain Door was first published in 1986 and tells the story of Harry's adventure in a fantastical world involving lions, a horse called Lightning and a mechanical dinosaur.
